We had many events cancelled, but one thing that cannot be cancelled is HOPE. We can choose to have hope everyday in our relationships with our family and friends, personal aspirations and dreams, and world in large. I am so impressed with the students from Black Ridge and Hidden Hollow. I have met with students through video conferencing, phone, and email during the soft closure of school. You have so much hope and bring me hope for the future!
The challenge this week is to write our hopes and dreams on paper. If you would like, make a paper boat with your hopes and dreams. See the paper boat animation below.
Embrace the joys of life along with it's challenges.
Do you spend time wishing things were different? Some people spend a lot of time and energy railing against the unfairness of life.We may not be able to change some things about our life. Accepting that can go a long way to improving your resilience. Instead of being overwhelmed by adversity, embrace it!
The challenge this week is to write 5 things daily that you are learning from COVID-19. I've learned to slow down and focus more on the most important elements in my life. . It has been nice to work on projects and develop my talents. I started working on refinishing and reupholstering furniture. I will post a picture when completed. Have a great week!
Write below some of your things you are learning from COVID-19.
